Welcome to The Intercontinental Breakfast
After 56 episodes, The Intercontinental Breakfast shuts the buffet doors (for the time being) as Breffni and Nathan sign off in discussing two news-packed weeks in professional wrestling: the season premiere of Monday Night Raw, the inaugural Wednesday Night War between NXT on USA and the debuting AEW Dynamite on TNT, the debut episode of SmackDown on FOX, and the fart in a crowded lift that was WWE Hell in a Cell. But don't worry! Breff & Nathan will return in the coming weeks with a brand new video podcast! Until then, we hope you enjoy our swansong episode, and our sincere thanks to anyone and everyone who has ever tuned in. Thank you, and good morning.
Stretching back to 1999 all the way to 2006, this week is all about our favourite wrestlers and performers as kids. Our guys. The performers and athletes whom we identified with most. Any surprises here? Absolutely not. There's an Olympic Gold Medallist, two brothers who weren't really brothers, one brother who was really a brother but whose brother isn't discussed, a true high-flyer, and a gentleman brawler.
